spiritual, emotional and relational needs of the women in our church family.

- Once a month, on the first Saturday at 10:00 am, the ladies meet at the church to discuss a passage or person from the Bible in an informal way around a cup of tea or coffee, to share their highs and lows, pray for one another, and simply enjoy a sense of community with other women of all ages. We call these gatherings "Purple Saturdays".
- During the week, either in the afternoon or the evening, we often have a Ladies Bible Study going on, where the women can delve into the Word of God together and get to know each other better in the process.
- When the weather permits, we have a group that tries to meet once a month to go on a walk or hike together on one of the trails in the area. The group is called "Women Out Walking" (WOW).
- At various times throughout the year, the Word of Life Women get together to do a craft, work on a project, participate in a "paint date", or engage in some other activity or ministry outreach together. These will be listed on our calendar as they are scheduled.
- As part of the North Central District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, women from Word of Life have the opportunity to participate in various events that involve other churches throughout our district. Each fall, we are invited to attend the annual North Central Alliance Women's Retreat at Big Sandy Camp in McGregor, MN.
